trying new approaches to oil painting.  don't know where i'm going, but i know i have to spend more than 40 minutes on it.  trying to simplify the thinking and incorporate more drawing technique into it, something they never really spoke about at school.  and another thing, i really have a hard time talking with people my own age or within a 5-8 year difference.  i don't like most of the shit they are into.  and most of the time i just want to have comfortable silence, without the requirement of inane conversation.  i am going to be a grumpy old man aren't i.
